Selune
Selune is a fae word meaning “moon” in common tongue. It is considered the first and biggest of the moons around the planet Orn. It’s name is also known for Our Lady of Silver, or the chaotic good goddess of the moon, Sehanine Moonbow, known for her tricks and knowledge and guidance for many.
Legend says that Moonbow was a fey-elf who loved to play tricks on her fellows, and is often depicted doing strange acts; one such depiction shows her attaching a spiraled horn to a horse whilst giggling.
Another legend depicts happening during Hellstorm, or The Break. Corellon, the greatest warrior of the Elves fought against Tharizdun, a dark god from the Abyss, along with his daughter, Sehanine. She took the eye of Tharizdun in battle.
It is said that Sehanine died but her father Corellon gave up his soul so she may live. The Great King heard his cries and she was given a new form of cosmic power, which would only last for 10,000 years.
Today, the moon, aptly named Selune, sits in the heavens overlooking Orn.
Kreen
This smaller more brownish moon hardly looks like a moon at all, but a very small planet. It is further away from Orn and Selune, often being hidden behind Selune from Orn’s point of view. Legend says that Kreen is inhabited by a race of creatures called Thri-Kreen and other strange alien monsters that was thrown onto said moon thousands and thousands of years ago.
The Solar System
- The Sun (Some call Apex Kur) The largest fire body of the solar system, is located at its center and radiated a comfortable amount of warmth throughout the entire sphere. It was particularly susceptible to solar flares, which erupted almost continually. Some say this cosmic body has a soul or is home to great gods or creatures, like Sun Dragons. Others say it is the “way to Mount Celestia where the Great King resides.”
- Anadia a small, amber-and-green-colored planet is closest to the sun.
- Coliar was a gas giant mostly populated floating islands of water and earth, revolving around the planet’s core. The planet is covered with clouds and appeared as a gray-white sphere from Orn. It was considered one of the Dusk Heralds (first star you see at sundown).
- Orn the prime planet in the solar system and the centerpiece of the Great King’s creation. Selune and Kreen are her moons.
- Mechanus a copper planet that changes color every 30 days (early astronomers and wizards used this to track their months). The colors are tan, gold, orange, and copper.
- Karpri the first of the Five Wanders, Karpri, the fifth planet in the system, was an oceanic world. It was an absolutely beautiful place to behold from space. From Orn it appeared as a large star but as a sapphire ball with white caps when viewed by magical means.
- Chandos is another oceanic world. Its seas contain lumps of rock that, when piled high enough, creating highly unstable islands. This planet appears as a greenish-brown smudge color.
- Toril the second of the Five Wanderers (named, because these planets are not bound by the gravitational pull of the Sun, for whatever reason), approximately 60% of the surface being covered with water, flora on the land, and under the water with subterranean habitats.
- Glyth the third of the Five Wanderers was a gray planet that had a beautiful ring and three moons; Haven, Mingeabwe, and orbating Mingabwe was Polluter. These moons are sometimes observable from Orn.
- Exandria the fourth of the Five Wanderers, this is a planet that resembles the closest to Orn, teeming green and blue colors representing a large ocean and flora filled mountains teeming with possibilities.
- Meloria the final planet of the Five Wanderers in this solar system, is a planet hosting a single green continent with most of the planet being covered in water. It is the furthest planet from the Sun.
- Yuggoth this is a planet located at the very edge of the Orn’s Solar System in either the Lion’s Mane Nebula, Broken Disk or even as far away as the Devon Cloud. It was almost unnoticeable, because its color is a dark shade of purple.
