Nathan Falchion

Coming onboard Ryker’s airship as one of the new crew members, the half-elf Nathan quickly revealed his true form to the Derailers as a Shifter, along with his background. He was raised by a race of wooden war forged in the south, who were wiped out by Kane when he was 12. He was found by Octavius (of Octavius’ Outrageous Oddities), healed, and adopted. Years later, Octavius sent him to find the Derailers and deliver goods they had purchased but never picked up, setting him out on his mission to hunt down Kane. Nathan also holds an interesting artifact, a simulacrum that speaks to him, calling itself the Verger of the Dawn and claiming him as its protector.

Havayla Gresta

Haveyla is always accompanied by her unicorn companion Aurora (and her previously secret shadow Ryker). Curious to a dangerous fault, Haveyla felt stifled by her family’s expectations and started adventuring.

Having been promised to the goddess Sehanine Moonbow at an early age by her father, Havayla bears a heavy burden of responsibility to a deity that is nearing the end of her reign.

Arunak Pythargun

Arunak grew up as an orphan on the streets of Riverband and had never met another red tiefling before his adventures. Now, he has learned that not only is he the long lost child of the Crimson Eye, a family of assassins from the fire plane, but he has a sister. Dorza is a defector from the family, had been searching for him and met up with the team during their visit to Riverband. Now together, they work together to help the Derailers and avoid their dangerous family.

Wander Mountainroot

Wander joined paths with the team while both were investigating the tomb of an ancient giant. She started her journey on a mission from her god (whom she only knows as Knowledge) and her people to save them from the unknown darkness under the northern mountains. Wander comes from a large family of healers and tinkers but hasn’t traveled too far outside of her clan lands until now. She does not do well with thinking before the doing, especially when there are buttons or switches around. But she is solidly dedicated to being a help to all she can and will (apologetically) unleash pain upon threats to her clan and team.

Kane’s Notebook

Found in Kane’s remains by Syrin’s men and handed over to the Derailers. Further Notes: The sketch on the last two pages is a rough approximation of the same shape as Nathan’s Simulacrum.
